Our Story
Know a little about Morton’s path
Morton Rabkin, a retired attorney from Cincinnati, moved with his wife Barbara to Boquete, Chiriquí in 2008. A dedicated bread baker, he turned his passion into a post-retirement vocation as the founder of Morton’s Bakehouse – a Jewish artisan bakery in the delightful coffee growing highlands of western Panama.
In store, Morton’s offers Panama’s finest coffee, served with a varied menu where our breads become the center stage of a delightful culinary experience.
Today, Morton’s is a stapple of the Boquete experience. Our commitment to high quality ingredients and standards, coupled with our Kosher certification, makes our bakery a must-stop for residents and visitors alike.
